Today I have a very exciting message to share with you.
First I want to tell you that there is hope. For years and years I wanted to kill myself.
I felt hopeless and lived knowing that my life was going by me killing myself.
I want to tell you that there is hope.
No matter what you are going through, there is hope.
Why is there hope? Because I didn’t kill myself, and you don’t have to eiter.
Today I am 37 and I have not felt hopeless since October 29th 1992.
I know that you are feeling hopeless right now and things don’t seem like they will turn around.
But they will.
So here is today’s message. Today is a good day. I am in Washington DC working with Reese Butler of the Kristin Brooks Hope Center.
Today I am starting a new job to help suicidal people find hope.
When I think about it, I seems unbelievable that I would be here.
I knew that I would be dead but instead I am very alive and full of peace.
How? Giving and not being selfish.
The bible says that it is better to give than to receive.
In 1992 I experience this intrinsic law of nature when I first following God.
I stopped thinking about my self, (which was driving me to the point of suicide) and started to think about how I could help others.
It has been 20 years now and I am hear to tell you that there is hope and a way to find it is to surrender your to be self-centered and instead be focused on how you can bless others.
Try it today.
You will see just how good it is to love others.
There is hope.
